Not a joke. I get bored if I listen to liberal podcasts too much so I like listening to the other side.

For more clarification something kinda like Vice on HBO.
(Also I just started watching it and enjoy it but like wasn't there some bs with them back in the day? I feel like there's a reason I shouldn't watch/trust them but I don't remember what that was).

So damn good. On Joshua Tree now.

Got to the episode where they talk with the band and ended there. It was good but I feel like the later episodes dropped in quality and sometimes they do bits for waaaay too long.
Anyone been listening to Caliphate via NYT? Amazing.

Honestly I haven't been able to get into the REM one because of them forcing the old bits. You made the right choice.

Honestly I haven't been able to get into the REM one because of them forcing the old bits. You made the right choice. It takes a couple episodes to get going but the last few are as good or better than the U2 episodes. The David Wain one especially is incredible. The New Adventures in Hi-Fi one isn't very good but thats only because Scott compares every fucking song to Radiohead its like congrats Scott you know obscure rock bank Radiohead

not sure why you gave the guy who called Yair Rosenberg one of the "best in the game" the benefit of the doubt

as soon as song one from Up started playing a count down begun in my head for when Scott was going to compare it to Radiohead it took him like 45 seconds look at that self restraint

Curious what the scotts have to say about one of my favorite REM songs, "Hope"

I listened to the David Wain one per your rec and I love them barely tolerating his high school cover band.

rango told me to listen to Doughboys and this is genuinely some of the most fun that I've had listening to a podcast

I tried the taco bell one this morning and the first half of the episode, for my 45 min drive to work, they just talked about wrestling the whole time. Hopefully the second half is better.

They’re all over the place on it which is part of what I enjoy about it. It’s very conversational.

I'll check it out.
Also shutout to the Dollop for the 1908 car race from New York to Paris episode. I think that's the funniest episode of any podcast I've listened to. Highly recommend to anyone who doesn't listen.

I could not listen to this podcast at all and this is coming from a guy who's entire podcast niche is "people sitting around talking about nothing"
But, to each their own

Every time I see a new post in this thread, I'm hoping it's news about Serial S3. It has been almost two years since the conclusion of Serial S2; looks like S3 is supposed to be "early 2018". Just 16 days left in the first half of this year and still no Serial S3.
