I managed to get an order of the limited release of "Flamin Hot" Mountain Dew and it is absurdly good. I assumed it was going to be a shitty joke flavor but it is genuinely a favorite

I got it on the Mountain Dew site. I set an alarm and everything. Like 8 months ago brainloading introduced me to the Mountain Dew subreddit and I thought it was hilarious to laugh at these people and now I am one of them. I also thought it sounded revolting but it’s like a nice Mountain Dew flavor on the front and a spicy, almost gingery tint on the end. Not overwhelmingly spicy but definitely “spiced” if that makes sense |

That sounded so revolting when I read about it...but I was also very intrigued. Where did you get it? the Mountain Dew subreddit I just looked at this and I had no idea there were so many flavors. I thought there was just regular, Baja Blast, and Code Red |

Every target by me has already been picked through even before Halloween, it's going to be tough to find anything good left at all. And the good news is people were much more generous with candy this year, my kids both came home with buckets full. So I think we have enough for now. |

So I think we have enough for now. this is my first year in a house in chicago and we tried to be pretty generous, but a lot of kids still just took one piece. some bratty 6-year old pawed through our basket and was like "this is all they have?" as if kit kats, snickers and a variety of reese's products are below her. she scoffed and took nothing. luckily, almost every other kid was very well-behaved. |

Walgreens was really picked over, but they still had a decent amount of the Bats left. I knew I had to grab them last night because they might have been all gone if I waited until today after work. I don't like the pumpkins as much, and they already have the Christmas trees out. |

Okay, I know that Rice Krispies Treats made with Ruffles subbed in for the Rice Krispies sounds kind of insane, but I made it, and it is delicious.
