Or woman, what is gender but a social construct anyway?
Just curious where the board pulse is on them these days? Been jamming the shit outta them this week

I abstained as there is not a choice that conveys how strongly I hate the fuckin' Eagles. Cannot stand them as a group. Can tolerate a few of their solo songs though.

I used to enjoy their music. But they are the first band to have their ticket prices go over $100, so I'm largely blaming them for how bad things have gotten in the industry.

hating the eagles is a very epic bacon, mostly because of the movie. In reality the eagles have 8 good songs and no good albums but that's still better than like Car Seat Headrest or Florcnce and the Machine or whatever

Don Henley is a dick. They made a lot of cheesy music. I have no interest in seeing the current version live in concert.
But The Eagles are good.

Eagles were my favorite band when I was 12, so I'll never hate them, but I've grown largely indifferent over time. I've cooled on much of their Joe Walsh era stuff, but all in all they have 7-10 good/great songs and their harmonies slap.

Back when times were different and we used to be able to run a discourse re: dead people, a boarder who shall remain nameless said “I am more upset that Don Henley is still alive than I am that Glenn Frey has passed”
And I feel similarly.

I hate "Take it to the Limit" because my high school P.E. teacher played it REPEATEDLY as the song we waltzed to.
It may have been the only song he knew that was in 3/4.

I remember "learning" the electric slide sped up to various songs including but not limited to the red hot chili peppers' cover of "higher ground"

I very much dislike the Eagles and find 7-10 a very high number for worthwhile songs.
I also had dance as part of middle school PE, although it featured no Eagles thankfully. Did not take any PE in high school.

The Eagles were at their best went they were a vibe-y cocaine roots band which is not the case for hotel California

Seven Bridges Road is my favorite Eagles song but most of them are at least tolerable.
We did not get to dance at all in school because that had potential to make us pre-maritally horny

i think my take on hotel california is that it is at least goofy and nonsensical whereas most of the eagles insufferable music is them taking themselves very, very seriously

Why didn’t teekoh do high school PE? when we were in HS, being a member of a school sports team meant you were able to waive PE for however long that season was. if you played sports year round, PE basically turned into another elective. dunno if that's his reason but i only did so much PE because someone convinced them marching band was equally excusable as football, so i just tooted my little horn and wandered around and they let me out of gym
