so apparently FYF goers with either 3 day passes or sunday tickets are receiving 3D glasses in the mail. arguably NIN related. dunno if that pertains to Riot or if it's FYF exclusive but ya know, #neat. It's for Flying Lotus. |

DOUGLAS PARK BEAUTIFICATION INITIATIVE riotfest.org/2017/06/douglas-park-beautification-initiative-park-clean/This summer, we’re working hard to make sure Douglas Park, Riot Fest’s home in Chicago, stays beautiful. We’re looking for volunteers to help out a total of 3 days this summer by mulching trees, picking up trash, pulling weeds, planting flowers, and more. Volunteers are needed on each of the following dates from 10 AM to 2 PM: Sunday, July 30th Saturday, August 12th Sunday, August 20th All are welcome, no experience necessary. Volunteers will be rewarded for their time with tickets to Riot Fest Chicago 2017. The breakdown is as follows: – One (1) session = 1-day pass to Riot Fest – Two (2) sessions = 2-day pass to Riot Fest – Three (3) sessions = 3-day pass to Riot Fest |

saturday and sunday have a pretty even split of stuff i'd want to see. bummed new order is on friday.

lol dont think best coast have any assault accusations sadly, too many bands with assault accusations for me to have guess which might have been on a riot fest lineup. Moose Blood has also played Riot Fest affiliated shows before, right? And a Danzig addition would be another artist who has been investigated for assault. |

So, am I happy about this breakdown or no? since you're going all 3 days i'm not sure it matters too much since we knew what day each headliner was already. i'm just thrilled about Danzig and also v much like the prospect of New Order -> NIN, Wu Tang -> Qotsa, Paramore -> Jawbreaker also confirms i'm probably gonna take friday off work this year so i can get in early for tobacco and saul and such |
