We went to the Sox game today and it was fun.

Yesterday was my first game back in over two years. Tatis hit a home run and did his home run trot skip before third base, and I was the only person who applauded.
Also the Rockies swept the Padres. Baseball in Colorado is weird.

Yermin being horrible is such a bummer. I really want him to turn it around but it's about time Hahn trades for a bat and sends Yermin down to Charlotte

Sox Machine had a good article about him earlier this month. Once pitchers figured out he can't hit anything above 92 mph they've just been overpowering him. He looks lost right now.

It was a fun story early in the season but he needs to be sent down. He's totally overmatched. Hahn needs to go get another bat, three starters out with major injuries is too much for any team.

i went to my first game since 2019 over the weekend. it was the st. paul saints. i've heard raves about that ballpark and experience over the years. i thought it was very pleasant, but not incredible or anything.

A domestic violence restraining order filed against Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer and executed on June 28 includes multiple graphic images from the woman who filed the request. The woman, in the 67-page ex-parte document, said that Bauer assaulted her on two different occasions. Together, the woman said those two incidents included Bauer punching her in the face, vagina, and buttocks, sticking his fingers down her throat, and strangling her to the point where she lost consciousness multiple times.

So Twitter, to be expected, is full of people saying "I haven't read the article because it's behind a paywall, BUT [gibberish]"
