What was face value on a 3-day? They're looking pretty reasonable on StubHub right about now... I can't find my email with the full total, it was $195 before fees I believe, and they tacked on something like $40 in fees. |

Wanted to see what this fest was doing in the wake of riot fest news and, lo and behold: pitchforkmusicfestival.com/health-and-safety/Entry Requirements
All attendees, vendors, staff, artists, and anyone ages 12 and older entering Union Park will need to be fully inoculated against COVID-19, or have proof of a negative PCR test within the past 24 hours, for each day of the Festival.
Masks
In accordance with current IDPH and CDPH guidelines, masks will be required throughout festival grounds. Masks may be removed when eating and drinking. Pitchfork is working closely with local health officials and will continue to update this policy as local guidelines become available. |

I'm going to throw my hot take in here for better or worse- masks throughout the fest for an outdoor fest where I'd expect almost all the crowd to be vaccinated anyway AND they have a vaccine check that I expect them to take seriously is a bit overkill. granted i have no idea if this will be truly enforced or just a suggestion
if there are any indoor areas at this fest (tents or whatever) wouldn't bother me in the slightest to enforce it in there though

I just got an email from the fest updating their covid policy:
I guess this is about as much as we could realistically hope for? Cancellation had also been on my mind with the Jazz fest thing and since the fest hadn't released a schedule yet. Seems like full steam ahead right now though

I guess Animal Collective only gets 15 minutes to impress me this time around. Not happy with Jamila being on the blue stage, but oh well. And I get to leave at 6:00 on Sunday, nice.

Friday is going to be so fun.
Animal Collective vs Kelly Lee Owens sucks a bit and I also don't like Faye Webster vs Waxahatchee but eh
Also deciding whether I wanna be close for Phoebe or see Yaeji. I'm seeing Big Thief the next weekend so I don't feel like that's a must see
