Where’s everyone planning on staying? I know 0 about the city of Barcelona and AirBnbs look wild expensive. Was dumb to commit to both weekends but here we are, I’m in too deep now.

Was dumb to commit to both weekends but here we are, I’m in too deep now. i stayed in different neighborhoods each time i went, but was always within a couple blocks of the tram or metro to get to the festival. only once did i stay close enough to walk there and back, and after 8-10 hours of festing that walk wasn't great. airbnbs are probably a little cheaper and varied than hotels, so i'd still stick with them. poblenou or the gothic quarter are good spots because they're central to notable parts of the city, the weekday venues i'm familiar with are basically split between those neighborhoods, and they're near enough to the festival that trains are only a few stops or cab/uber fares shouldn't be obscene. plus, gothic quarter is near the pickup/dropoff of the airport shuttle. |

Welp just booked my flight for Weekend 1. Originally planned to just come in for the festival but realized I had Memorial Day off so I might as well fly in a few days early to explore the city.

I'm like 90% out for this unfortunately, put in a refund request for my tickets. If it doesn't get fulfilled for whatever reason and I can't sell them then I'll reconsider, not going to just lose the money. The lineup is a dream lineup for me but I just don't think this is the year I make a Europe trip
bummer on Massive Attack but the rest of the lineup is so good that I wouldn't care too much. Would be the second time they cancelled on me, I had tickets to their original Chicago date for that Mezzanine tour and couldn't make the rescheduled dates

That Massive Attack cancellation is a huge disappointment. They were my #1 reason for going.

The only issue with NIN is they are rumored to be booked for next year. I doubt Primavera moves them up when the fest is sold out

Just noticed that you can now sort the first weekend by the acts on each stage, but it does not show set times yet. Someone with more knowledge than me can hopefully set that up on clashfinder now

I have a mostly finished private clashfinder, but there’s about 15 less acts per day on the poster than usual, so it was really tough to finish it. I’m already out for the night, but I’m pretty hyped to check it out when I get home. Maybe I’ll be able to finish my clashfinder tomorrow

They do have the 9-11th, but those aren’t sorted yet |

I kinda thought that was the case cuz Les Savy Fav isn’t playing the main fest and I was really hoping to get into that venue show for them.
Honestly, it’s kinda weird they haven’t announced general on sale for the midweek shows. I’m getting a little impatient for my vacation and I feel like it would help if the fest would announce… something?

I think they’re gonna sell 15-20% of capacity in tickets and the rest will be for fest pass holders. Supposedly the better your ticket the higher priority you’ll be to get in, but I have no idea how that will work in practice |

Hey so my friend I’m going with has to bail on W2 - he’s staying through the weekday venue shows but it is sounding like I’ll have an extra W2 AND an open bed in the hotel room 6/9-6/12 if anyone’s looking.
