He also said we only share one with them so my guess is The Weeknd and that was his “hint” earlier. Someone asked if Jay-Z or Odezsa was playing and he just posted a live video of Odezsa at Lolla so I’m gonna guess that he’s confirming them and not Jay-Z.

I feel like he’d be a pretty weak #1. It depends on if you believe the rumor about him getting replaced last minute due to him not liking his billing. Is it possible that he wanted to be billed above Chance because he was billed that way at Roo as well? It’s also possible all that shit was made up. Not sure how much I believe it.

I don't think Florence comes back this soon. I know she got rained out, but she did still have a 45 minute headlining set. 3 years between headlining sets seems a bit soon for anyone not named Marshall.

did they ever end up doing a full tour on that '16 album? i feel like i never saw them anywhere except maybe the okeechobee lineup?
could also be an emergency rawk booking to compensate for PJ/Foos not playing a la The Killers every fucking time lol

They played Tinley this summer and I think they did another tour in 2016 too. Arctic Monkeys will be the rawk booking Not to beat a dead horse but they also played the UC in March. No need for a 3rd Chicago stop on the same album cycle. |

I really think The Weeknd is coming out with a new album soon, which would warrant some of his supposed upcoming festival appearances. Anyways,
Kanye * The Weeknd* Jack White * Arctic Monkeys

Weekend vs Odezsa
Jack White vs Chainsmokers
Kanye vs Halsey
Arctic Monkeys vs The National
My realistic ideal setup, though you could probably swap the days for Odezsa and The National and it'd make more sense, this just has me seeing a headliner I like every day.

Arctic Monkeys and The National is splitting the same fan base. Put one of them against the Weeknd on Thursday and I'm sold.
National, Jack White, Kanye and Arctic as my 4 headliners would be as good as I could expect Lolla 2018 headliners to get.
