Still not going but that isn't bad a set of headliners. You've become very soft.

That happens when you get old. I prefer my Wyoming more bitter. Oh, well, I got you covered. Even if I wanted to pay for four days of water downed, mediocre entertainment, I can't go because I am babysitting the kids while my ####### ex-wife is traveling through Japan and Asia on the alimony I am paying her.

I'm feeling really good about Lolla's options for headliners with Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, The National, Gorillaz, Beck, Florence, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Vampire Weekend being active this summer.

Yeah it’s weird that my biggest concern is conflicts right now

Justin Timberlake * Florence and the machine * Jack White * Arctic Monkeys * Travis Scott * Vampire Weekend * The National * Odesza

With Chainsmokers not being on the Coachella or Gov Ball lineup I'm thinking we dodged that bullet. I would swap them out for Odesza.

True, they could also be at Perry's tbh

Justin Timberlake * Florence and the machine * Jack White * Arctic Monkeys * Travis Scott * Vampire Weekend * The National * Chainsmokers Surely this is the best possible outcome for this year? Something like: JT vs The National Florence vs Vampire Weekend Jack White vs Chainsmokers Arctic Monkeys vs Travis Scott In this case Florence vs Vampire would be a pretty rough conflict, but with that top 8 I don't know how you'd get around at least 1 hard conflict.

Yes because they didn't book Arcade Fire, the xx, Lorde and Chance last year. Oh wait I forgot everyone hates Lolla now. Carry on.

i could see any of Monkeys, YYY's, or Beck going the way of p4k or riot fest. plus side, i could see odezsa, kygo, etc. going to north coast or spring awakening.
lolla gets a lot of potential acts stolen from other big fests here now.

I think Monkeys are too big for Pitchfork and with their history with Lolla I think C3 locks them up.

yeah i can't imagine arctic monkeys headlining pitchfork. also dont see why they would bring beck back.

hence i said riot fest but was too lazy to separate those declarations as different bands for different fests.
i'll figure out how commas work when i have my coffee.

The acts you listed all come from the alt/indie genre, and are all probably headliners. Based on where the fest has been going (and as someone who believes The Killers were a last minute fill in), I don't see Lolla giving more than 3 headlining spots to rawk bands. I hope I'm wrong.

I feel like the only thing predictable about Lolla is that they know what is selling with the kiddies and what's blowing up.
I question their taste, but not their methods.
