I was gonna ask why there was a random pot shot at Peter Criss's solo career but than I learned on wikipedia that Criss wrote a song in 2008 called "Space Ace" about Ace's betrayal and boy is it a song!

in Ace's defense, his set at Psycho was better than Paul/Gene's set at Open Air.
this is mostly because he still does the "guitar on fire" shtick and it looks okay whereas when Paul does the "fly like a bat across the stage" shtick, i spent the whole time worrying that we were about to witness another Owen Hart scenario.

Obviously Ace is a horrible person too and was fired multiple times for booze and drugs and legal trouble, but Gene really is the worst.
Ace lowkey begging for his job back is kind of sad but still.

I wish they would just agree to all play on the same stage one last time. If not for the fans, then for the money.
Won't someone think about the money?

The verbal war between Ace Frehley and KISS just took another bizarre turn. In a public Facebook post, Ace’s partner Rachael Gordon says KISS “tried to have Ace killed in the ‘70s” by sending him to a fake private party in the Bahamas.
Responding to a friend on Facebook about the recent KISS drama, Rachael Gordon wrote:
"Let me tell you.
They tried to have Ace killed in the 70’s. Tried sending him to a so called ‘private party’ in the Bahamas.
Ace is VERY sober now and knows what’s happening.
He sees things clearly now.
He doesn’t need a chain of low brow restaurants; he plays the guitar. That’s what he does.
FUCK THEM."
No response has yet been given from the KISS camp. Though Frehley refers to Gordon as his “wife,” the guitarist revealed he’s still legally married to his first wife, Jeanette Trerotola, in a 2018 interview.
“I’m still legally married to my first wife and her health hasn’t been that good. I’m not in a position to force a divorce on her so I can marry Rachael but that’s going to happen down the road”

I love Ace but there is no way Gene and Paul would have spent the money to send him to the Bahamas. Story would have maybe worked if it was Rockford or Sheboygan.

How do you feel about getting murdered in the Bahamas When my wife and I went to Eleuthera Island, Bahamas we jokingly agreed that it would be the perfect place to hide a dead body.

“I’m still legally married to my first wife and her health hasn’t been that good. I’m not in a position to force a divorce on her so I can marry Rachael but that’s going to happen down the road” I know of a guy with a fiancé, who got a transplant using the health care benefits of his wife, whose job had great health care benefits. However, after the transplant, the fiancé broke up with him due to his dalliance with someone new..

Let's also not lose sight of the fact that Ace explicitly stated that all of this (including, I assume, the murder plot) is water under the bridge as long as they offer him his job back.
