confirmed is a super strong word to use when describing anything cedric or omar do. they teased new Antemasque for like a year before just abandoning the whole project in lieu of an ATDI album without jim that no one wanted  |

not sure how many here are fans of turnpike troubadours, but there's this:
Turnpike Troubadours will go on an indefinite hiatus until a time we feel that everyone is of strong mind, body and spirit and can deliver what our fans deserve.
i saw them at a benefit show a few weeks ago (which may turn out to have been their last show) and the singer was not in a right frame of mind, whether it's alcohol or drugs. pretty much a trainwreck show, even though the rest of the band was good. apparently it's been happening for a while and now time for a break to get him cleaned up.

I kept seeing that they had to keep cancelling shows, including their last Chicago date. Hopefully they can get healthy.

A regional artist from Greensboro, Taylor Bays, has passed. You can check out his band's music here: taylorbaysandthelaserrays.bandcamp.com/I think some of y'all would dig the default track there. I didn't know him, but several of my friends did. Sounds like he was a big influence and overall cool cat. RIP |

found out recently about a band break-up that happened a couple of months ago. The Railers, originally a quartet, were down to a trio (husband, wife, husband's borther) after the death of their drummer, and now, after the H's brother left it's just a duo of H and W, and renamed Ivy and Wall. when it was a quartet, it was really specially; I don't know about now.

fugazi's been rehearsing together for a good decade now. that hasnt exactly paid off
also i'd definitely lean on "the jonas bros dont know who mcr is and heard a mid 00's pop punk cover band in the next room over" or even "they were just making fun of whatever pop punk was playing next door" before i assume they just leaked a reunion
