Ought have broken up
Tim and the bassist are forming a new band with the drummer from U.S. Girls, they'll be called Cola
Always loved these guys, one of my favorite little bands of the 2010s. Their debut blew me away back in 2014, and this remains one of the best songs of the decade.

I think I played "Beautiful Blue Sky" on my college radio show more than any other song. I think it was up there with "Big Day Coming" and "Transparent Radiation"

I think it was up there with "Big Day Coming" and "Transparent Radiation" you mean you didn't log your playlists so that years later you could definitively know what song you actually did play most on college radio? (by my junior year, i decided to not play the same band twice during a semester. but before that my playlists were littered with repeats week-to-week.) |

I need to find them and run the numbers sometime. I remember copy-pasting all the info from our station log. Chances are it's the Spacemen 3 track, I used to dig their records up constantly while I was on the 4-6am shift |

Their heart was clearly not in it at lollapalooza and it wasn’t the best set but I’ll always remember the bill I saw of 100 gecs> Slowthai> Brockhampton a few years ago. Have to commend them for ousting the predator pretty much as they were rising to be the next big thing.

Dicky Barrett was an announcer for Jimmy Kimmel for years and was suddenly replaced at the start of this year. They said he retired and moved to Arizona, so I guess that extends to the band as well.
