Feel like I've been hearing about this reunion for years and years now. Looked at setlist.fm and, damn, they only ended up playing 19 shows this go-round. Real shit luck.

That rules. I’ve seen Bob Weston in so many different iterations, but never Shellac. They’ve done some one-off shows over the last few years.

didn't know that they had disbanded. they were never prolific in putting out records and they didn't play live much. dunno if they did but their last album was 10 years ago. Yeah, they usually take their time between records. Steve Albini said that they had been working on this new one on-and-off for a while. And yeah, they don't play a lot of live shows - usually just a handful in a certain area every once in a while - because they have day jobs. Anyway, excited for a new album and live shows. |
