I love Portugal, but if anyone puts their album on any year-end list, they need their head examined.

It feels like a meme how do u not understand a bunch of young talented guys making good rap music constantly and being heavily involved with their very young fanbase jesus I mean Odd Future did it first. I like how they were founded on an internet forum, that's neat. But it doesn't seem to be particularly groundbreaking and it feels like it has a shelf life. Maybe I'm wrong. We'll see what next year holds. Maybe Pitchfork will like them and then in turn I'll like them more! Edit: Full disclosure, I listened to III when it came out because a friend of mine hyped it for weeks. I thought it was fine. Apparently II is the big one so maybe I'll put that on later today.
