I was hoping we'd get a John Waters themed Halloween set, but seems the hints are dropping for classic movie monsters.

I really thought that rumor wouldn't pan out since he posted a Nashville photo in his stories earlier today. So lucky you got to be they Xam!

Pretty tempted to try to make this Nashville run happen next year, although I know it's going to require luck to get into the Ryman
Starting this album in a bit here after my morning meeting

it doesn't require luck. it requires practice, practice, practice.

Congrats to Billy and his wife. Wonder how the vibes on the ground at Renewal are.

Definitely doing right by his fans. Although, to hear alady tell it, they don't deserve such nice things

Who takes the bath on this? The promoter? Or would insurance cover?

I truly have no idea, I would assume the language on the tickets says "lineup subject to change" so they legally (probably?) are not required to do this, which makes me think insurance would never touch it. Complete guesswork here; I'm plenty familiar with performance contract language but fairly inexperienced in a consequence like this.
A little googling suggests that the Billy camp told Bonfire Entertainment that this was a possibility weeks in advance, and Bonfire chose to roll the dice instead of formulate any kind of contingency. I don't know how much that complicates things but it certainly seems like it would.

Denver shows at Ball Arena apparently are going to be in the round. That'll be interesting, and also a ton of tickets to sell.
I'm very much considering throwing my hat in the ring for the Ryman in Nashville. I think I'm in for all 3 shows if I can get into the Ryman, will be kind of 50/50 if I don't

I don't want to see any band three nights in a row but I signed up for 3/1 at Bridgestone and will try my luck for the Ryman.

am not going to Baltimore for anything, but if I did go to the Billy thing, I'd be most interested in what Tim Blake Nelson is doing for those shows, and interested in Sierra Hull playing bluegrass.*
*Hull is at the Naper settlement a couple of days before halloween, but I'm having a tough time convincing the better half to have us drive out there and drive back in the dark afterwards.

its been a few years since ive seen it but i would think the vibe would acceptably be "dress like the movie" and not "dress like someone specifically from the movie"
but you are correct

I kind of want to go as Holly Hunter one night and John Goodman the next

As I remember, Goodman is a villain in the film, and not a good or fun villain.

Got GA tickets for both Nashville nights. Hoping I can get into the Ryman too.
Also still hoping to for two GA tickets for either Baltimore night if anyone has any leads. Been patrolling cash or trade pretty hard but not been a lot out there. Probably going to settle for seats soon if I keep having no luck.

I got tix to the Fri and Sun shows in Denver. I thought they were supposed to be in the round but seat map show end stage set up.
EDIT: I guess by "360" they just mean open seats behind the stage. Lame.
