Yeah the endgame on that one was more for dressing up jeans/khakis and being generally nicer attire rather than for a suit, though I think they’d still work alright in a pinch I feel like he has a pair like the second pair. I don't love the square toe? don't buy square toed shoes ever

I feel like he has a pair like the second pair. I don't love the square toe? This is a fair criticism. I’ll keep looking. Based on your Instagram picture of him I’m gonna guess he’s a 46L in suits tell me if I’m right this is my favorite game Ok it was clear that photo was in an optical illusion room right?

It was but I stand by my statement. I will admit at first I was kinda blown because I thought “shit Alady is taller than me he is so fucking tall” and then I figured it out but my guess is still 46L

I was about to say, the ten foot tall man does not have many great shoe options in this world.

Bonobos is often aimed at smaller dudes from my (limited) experience there but if you can find pants in their athletic fit, that would probably be what you’re looking for. Bonobos now has extended sizes!

I've spent $260 and I feel irresponsible.
I also realized I will never feel safe wearing my yeezys. Haven't worn them once in the two weeks I've had them.

It's possible I haven't spent $1,000 total on shoes in my entire adult life

I've gotten a lot better about sneakers. I used to be really bad around 2005 to 2007 when I was all like, "Obviously I need all three pairs of Nikes that are part of this collaboration!" I did stupidly end up buying pair of Yeezys recently just because I wanted to see if I could.
I have a problem with Vans especially since there is a store a few blocks from my place. Way way too easy to buy on impulse. And then the Dr. Martens store just two blocks up...argh.

My issue with Vans is even if I baby them they seem to fall apart. Like the sole and the side comes unglued from the fabric after a few days of light wear.
Sad I missed the Van Gogh drop. By the time I went to Vans store everything except little sizes were sold out. Then last month I was at this Van Gogh exhibition in Denmark and this group of dudes were there all wearing a different Vans Van Gogh from that release and i fucking hated myself for it even more.

That's what I do. They're not as available in as many colorways, but they're more plush and substantial. My Velcro Old Skools are the pro model, and they're so comfortable that they're becoming uniform status for me. I might have to search out a back up pair to hold on to because Vans stopped making them.

How are you planning on wearing these chukkas and other boots? What do you want them to be made out of?

What do you want them to be made out of? since my work went to casual attire all week, they have been my go to work shoes w/ jeans and typically wear them going out a lot. current pair is suede(?) but don't have a strong preference on the material

The classic Clarks chukka is kind of a rip off at this point even if you buy the highest quality ($200) one they make. They’re made decently but for the price they fall apart pretty quickly.

They ever do sales/discounts? I like those, too, but not really in the market at the moment. I have a pair of Clark’s that have done really well.
Got a pair of Aston Grey dress shoes today. Not super fancy or anything, but I’ve enjoyed the couple pairs of theirs that I’ve had.

I ordered one pair of shoes from them once and now they are constantly sending promo codes.

I'm usually a fan of Cheapest Brown Boots at the outlet mall in Rosemont.
