we took our dog to doggy daycare (at dogtopia) for the first time the other day. we had no idea how she'd react around other dogs or people, or if it would totally freak her out, but she seemed to like it, so we're hopefully going to make it a regular thing so she can get some more activity in her life.

They're apparently little terrors but I think they're so cute. One of them shit into a power strip and it started smoking which is neat.

She’s been giving all her fosters themed names and I guess popular meal combinations rolled around. My understanding is that with quirky names like that they get adopted way faster

My in laws moved to Florida a few years ago so you could probably say I’m always extra careful. We are hanging out with my MIL’s family for thanksgiving though so maybe they’re in on it.

Also, a friend of mine has a Selkirk Rex kitten.. that lamb-wool like, long curly hair, breed that started in the late 1970s with a mutant offspring of a alley cat My phone had no more battery, so I couldn't take a photo, but this is pretty close from what my friend's adorable kitten looks like  |

She is usually not allowed up on the mantel but she figured out how to get up there today and ate plants and knocked things off and broke them 🙁 I raised my voice at her and immediately felt terrible but now she is sitting in a box and very cute and I have to remember her brain is literally the size of a walnut |

Ours have been climbing all over stuff to a much greater degree lately. I don’t know if we just didn’t notice it before when we were still able to leave the house but they’ve suddenly gotten very needy. Yelling for food, yelling for attention, yelling to wake us up so we can listen to them yell. All the big players are present as of late

One thing mine has been doing lately is when I go to my bf's on the weekend she eats ALL of her food overnight (she is normally a nibbler and I only have to refill her bowl a few times a week)
Little weirdos.
