I try to avoid stadium shows, but the last two (U2 and Metallica) have been good experiences largely thanks to a) optimal parking that got us out super easily and b) seating close to the stage.
I've been to so many arena shows over the years and have a bunch coming up (Waters, Macca, Bruno Mars, QOTSA). I don't mind them, especially if the sound is good and the seats are decent enough. And taking a subway to MSG or Barclays in New York makes for a much more pleasant experience compared to driving to UC or Allstate in Chicago.

I've only seen 3 stadium shows in my life, The Stones twice ('94 and '97), and U2 on the Popmart tour.

stadium shows at least. that drake crowd is still the best one i've ever seen. The one time I saw Drake the crowd was awful but hey all of this is anecdotal anyway The two times I saw Drake (granted, both at fests) his crowd was awful, and he was mediocre. And I even liked the IYRTITL album he was supporting the second time! |

I've been to radio station festivals at RFK Stadium and Ravens Stadium (R.I.P. WHFS) but that seems different from an "arena show" somehow.

i can't begin to remember all the arena and stadium shows over the last nearly 40 years that i've been to.
but i will say that the sound and production in arena shows in the late 70s has dramatically improved these days.

I would call Toyota Park an arena then too. Stadium is like 80k or more. 80k might be setting the bar a bit high. Soldier Field is only like 60k, that's definitely a stadium. |

All amphitheaters are football stadiums but not all football stadiums are amphitheaters.
