Can we think if an actual worse top 3 in Coachella history than Beyonce/Phil Collins/Chainsmokers? It's not going to be Phil Collins, it's going to be Metallica/Beyonce/Chainsmokers with possibly an Arctic Monkeys/Vampire Weekend co-headlining Chainsmokers day. Kate Bush will be on the lineup. My guess is that David Byrne will be too based on nothing |

I know we're all loathe to admit it but Chainsmokers will headline - at the very minimum co-headline. Also are you just hoping that they'll book Kate Bush to spite that New Yorker article?

So with the Fleet Foxes latest dates dropping and a huge gap in April, they're looking pretty likely for Coachella.

not that it was very likely, but converge and thou will be on tour in europe during weekend 2.
coachella always has a small batch of punk/hardcore acts and the latest converge has been widely praised, so i thought there might be a small chance. alas.

I agree with Em / Beyonce / Arctic Monkeys. It makes so much sense... huge rap artist (long overdue for Coachella), Beyonce as the 'pop', and the promotion to headliner for the upcoming fest season (Phoenix kind of thing). Maybe AM co-headlines with a 'cool' booking of Bjork or something, which would have the added benefit of a 50/50 split male/female headliners which I think would be given more weight than ever given the current climate, particularly in LA.
I'm still not buying Weeknd either, that is such a boring, uninspired booking given he's been touring nonstop, and pretty much took the headlining spot last time he was at Coachella.

i'd be really surprised if they go that hard on massive pop acts (Em and Bey alone would royally botch the budget)
also it's CoS
