Man, it's crazy the amount of awesome bands that we've been able to see for free at street fests this year. have white lung even played here any time recently? not to mention alex g, real estate, and jeff rosenstock's shows were not free White Lung were at the Bottle last year, I thought they were here opening for another show too |

So my girlfriend convinced me to go to the River North Wine Fest on Saturday, September 23rd since she had a code for $20 tickets, and I gave in because it didn't sound like a terrible time. It only goes noon to four, so I was thinking about what we could do the rest of the day in our slightly drunken stupor, and I remembered the Goose Island fest is that day. I think the Goose Island Fest said it started around 3, how early would we need to be there to be good to get in? I think I could make that a really fun day from getting wine tipsy/drunk to see Joey Purp, and then probably hang out for in the back for the rest of the shows as I don't think my girlfriend or her friends will really care about Charles Bradley or Animal Collective.

How expensive were the beers on average the last couple of years? Last year they offered a deal (which I don't doubt they'll do again) where $20 token packs got you an extra token or two as opposed to buying individual tokens. |
