The Ed Harris sub-plot is the best part of the show. He is essentially the gamer who 100%d Red Dead Redemption and is now playing the DLC.

The reveal of.. The Man In Black's daughter was a nice touch.

They were purposely copying/paying homage to LOST with that opening right?
Edit: I guess JJ was paying homage to himself? It was like a little stroll down memory lane for me though.

On second thought this article from The Atlantic states it was just a "happy accident'. I have a hard time believing that.

Ups and downs with this one. But the Shogun detour was just meh.

shogun detour was better than dolores's storyline.
also, nice "c.r.e.a.m." cover.

Everything is better than Dolores' storyline to me. Such a boring character/arc.

i just caught up earlier today and have been wildly uninterested in dolores's story, so i'm glad others see it that way. also not a big fan of suddenly omnipotent maeve, but i like the idea of the shogun world mirroring westworld.

Shogun World was wildly interesting to me. I enjoyed this week’s episode a lot. I agree that Delores is boring as fuck

It was decent, and I'm glad we're out of Shogun world. Still finding many issues with the pacing and overall bland characters taking up too much time.
I'm still watching but I'm getting less and less interested as the weeks go by.

This episode was my favorite thusfar but I really can’t help but think we’ve gone through a lot of unnecessary shit this season and this could have been episode 3 or 4.

Totally. Shogun World seems like it was just pandering in hindsight.

Very little has served a greater purpose that can currently be seen and with the teasers for next week it really looks like they’re gonna drag out the main storyline. I really think all of the stuff that’s been happening in the main park should have wrapped up in like 5 episodes or led into something interesting.

All I can think about when I watch this is where the fuck is the military.

They're presumably unaware of what's going on to this point. All of the issues have been contained within the Delos property.

I didn’t actually see him die, I’m gonna assume he doesn’t. Though at this point, I’m gonna be super annoyed if he doesn’t die. He’s been shot like a billion times this season

Yeah he's definitely not dead, but agreed that was a ridiculous amount of times for him to be shot and live. Maybe he's a host after all.

That would be the only explanation that doesn’t annoy the hell out of me

My UA theory is that Ford programmed the hosts not to fully kill MiB but to have him suffer slowly as punishment for his actions being on the Delos executive board. Kind of reminds me of The Green Mile and how Tom Hanks' character gets eternal life as punishment for letting John Coffey walk the "Green Mile"

I figured at least MiB’s daughter finds him dying. Maybe she takes up his quest?

we were watching the last episode and wondering if this is the last season? i can't remember if there's going to be a 3rd season or not, and if so, where it would go... seems like it could possibly wrap at the end of this one.
