For Sure
As wild as this episode was, the shit they previewed for the coming weeks looks fucking bonkers.

That didn't do a lot for me.

Literally nothing was set up nor were there any questions posed it was just a 80 minute survey of who is dead and who is alive

Don’t understand how you could say there were no questions posed.

There were questions, (how did the tiger end up in WW? How did Bernard end up on the beach? What happened to Charlotte? How did all those hosts, including Teddy, die?) but none of those really drew me in. Obviously I'm not giving up on the show after one episode, but initially I'm not sure I'm going to care about this season's narrative.

My biggest question is where Bernard's loyalty lies. Seems like he turned off all the hosts, but why? Keep in mind I remember jack shit from season 1

I’m excited to experience both “quiet confused” Bernard and “more behind the ear fluid please” Bernard

Does anyone know what the piano was playing besides "The Entertainer"? It sounded really familiar.

I'm excited for Ford's continuing machinations with respect to William and the geographical shifts in the park.

Also, didn't Luke Hemsworth get captured by the Hosts in S1E9? How did he escape? Another thing...anyone think the "multiple Bernards" theory is plausible?

Not really related to anything but its pretty incredible not only how much less attractive the westworld hemsworth is but also how unstriking he is too.

Coming from someone that enjoyed S1, that episode was so bad I’m considering bailing entirely.

Episode 2 was much better, they've got my attention again.

Yeah I'm way back on board. I was really worried that they were going to pretty much ditch the western aspect of the thing but this one was great.
When Gus from Breaking Bad showed up I was like alright it's Gus! But then that happened....

I wasn't understanding the purpose of the William flashbacks other than the father-in-law respected him more than his actual son...

Even with a ton going on, it's weirdly boring so far this season.

Even with a ton going on, it's weirdly boring so far this season. i agree. neither episode has grabbed me yet, and I find Dolores to be excruciatingly boring which is probably why. Her arc is so dull, and Evan Rachel Wood has always struck me as a very vanilla actress. I'd rather see the furthering of more compelling characters like Maeve.

Finally watched episode 2. I am....intrigued but I really hope this starts to tie together better. Season 1 was really great at balancing confusion and story and interesting things and this season has not been great at that so far.

Ok this episode was fucking fantastic. This reminds me why I liked this show in it's first season. Some great stuff this time around! Two new parks! Glad we are starting to fill in some of the void that the first two episodes left. I understand some setup was necessary for the season but this episode would have fit way fucking better as episode 2. Not saying that episode 2 needs to be removed entirely but placing it after this one would be such a great decision, ANYWAYS I hope the rest of the season continues this trend. Pale Hose that article is super interesting and I think it's a solid theory. Would actually explain why the episodes exist in the order that they do.

had to be the worst choreographed and executed fight scene in the history of recorded media.
more entertaining than the last 2 episodes at least. we need all new characters

Yeah that was kind of a shitty fight scene. I was expecting better.
I also don't really understand the willingness of the humans to face off head to head when they know the other side is armed and THEY'RE ALL GATHERED IN A SMALL AREA. It seems like there's a simpler solution that would result in fewer casualties, but that would make for a shorter series.
Yay no Ed Harris. Best of the 3 so far this season because of his absence.

This is a really overrated show that I for some reason can't stop watching.
