I definitely haven’t been playing as much I want. I’m at maybe 40 shrines + beat the Wind Temple + at the boss of the Water Temple.

I've done 3 of the 4 main dungeons, have like 15 hearts or something like that, two full stamina bars. Haven't played as much lately, I really need to pick it back up and beat it, though my friends talked me into getting Diablo IV to play with them and that's taking up a lot of my game time Did the wind, fire, and water dungeons. In the Gerudo land now looking for that dungeon. Also got the Master Sword My opinion is very positive, I got really engrossed more than I did with Breath of the Wild. This one felt like a more fun and alive world to me, and got going quicker. And the building stuff is really fun

I got stuck on the second half of the Wind Temple boss battle like three weeks ago and after several attempts haven’t gone back to the game. Which is annoying because I was really enjoying it.
After seeing some YouTube clips of the shit that people have built, I also realize a big part of the game is untapped for me due to my apparently very dull imagination.
That said, this thread will give me the impetus to go back and beat the Wind Temple boss.

All of the Zelda talk inspired me to really give BOTW a serious shot again over the long weekend. There were a few things that clicked with me and I'm hooked. Haven't done any temples or anything (are there even temples?) but running around doing shrines has been a blast. Kind of trying to just focus on those to get myself a little OP before I start with the main quest, I just got to Hateno Village.
The main hurdle that I had to get over was A) getting used to switching weapons on the fly in the middle of a fight when one broke and B) knowing which weapons to save and which ones to just go ham with.

Jedi Survivor would be GotY for me if it didn’t drop so many frames on Performance Mode.

The main hurdle that I had to get over was A) getting used to switching weapons on the fly in the middle of a fight when one broke and B) knowing which weapons to save and which ones to just go ham with. Guys, I don't know if you've heard but BOTW is so, so good. I've been trying to do everything I can before going in to the castle (other than korok seeds because I'm not a sadist). I've finished all the shrines, I'd say I found 90-100 of them on my own and definitely had to pull up a guide eventually to find the rest (especially the one inside the castle, didn't think they'd have one in there. That's the only thing I've gone in there for). Going from being absolutely terrified when I heard the Guardian piano music to the point where I was actively hunting them down instead was one of the most satisfying feelings of progression I've ever had in a video game. I used Majora's Mask more than I'd like to admit but still felt like it was a great challenge, especially now that pretty much all of the monsters I encounter are at the highest level. I'm pretty sure I'm extremely OP and will steamroll the castle but I'm still chipping away at side missions and things like that. Started doing the Champion's Ballad but it seems like a lot of work for not much reward, might skip that and the Master Trials and just finish the main game stuff. I saw TOTK on sale for $50 a few weeks ago so I have that ready to go once I'm done with this. Not sure if I'll even take much of a break, I'm loving it so much.

Heyy I finally stopped just wandering around and actually completed a temple. The Lightning Temple was kind of a pain in the ass, mostly just the journey to it, but the boss was pretty simple. I guess I'll keep shooting for temples now.

I found that one a bit challenging but not overwhelming.
After the success of my “play all the dark souls games” era I’m now doing the same with Resident Evil. Beat the 4 remake a while back and I’m pretty deep into 1, which I am very much enjoying. Got a tiny bit started on the 2 remake but won’t go further till I’m done with 1. Rocks that these games are very good and sans the newest one you can get them for almost no money

anyone here recommend DREDGE? I've only heard great things about it. It'll be my next Switch purchase after I play TOTK.

Is Metroid Prime Remastered worth picking up at $40? I never had the chance to play it on GC.

I played a few rounds of the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre game that just came out and it is tremendously fun with well designed mechanics for both the attacking group and the escaping group. I see myself logging a lot of time in this

I'm a complete sucker because I could have waited a few days and got it for free through Gamepass, but I went ahead and paid $30 for the deluxe edition upgrade of Starfield so I could play it early this weekend since I'm sick and gonna be stuck inside all weekend during the Holiday. Just got it installed, will be diving into that soon

5 years later and I finally finished Chapters 2-6 in RDR2. In my 60 hours of playing through the story, I really enjoyed Arthur Morgan's story arc and it's amazing how well written everything is despite Rockstar's severely outdated mission design. mfw watching the final cutscene of Chapter 6 I also started the first mission of the prologue yesterday evening and the mundaneness of the missions really subverted my expectations.

Kind of disappointed by the preorder offers for the new Spiderman. I was hoping for something more than just a couple extra suits.
Is it reasonable to hope the price drops if I try to wait it out?

TIL Rock Band 4 still gets free anniversary updates. Here’s this year’s anniversary tracks:
"She's Got Sorcery" - I Fight Dragons "Black Earth, WI" - Ratboys "Pack of Smokes" - Blame It On Whitman
Amazing.

I remembered enjoying Payday 2 back in the day and 3 came out on Gamepass so I got a few friends to give it a go, and man, this game feels like they didn't add a single new feature from the last one and feels really disappointing. I had some fun doing the co-op stuff coordinating with my friends to stay stealthy, but it really just made me wish a co-op Hitman existed because those games do such a better job of having you infiltrate a place and actually giving you a lot of options in a sandbox.

RE 4's DLC "Separate Ways" is exactly how DLC should be. A complete story that enhances the original and connects back to the main game. Way better than the RE 8 DLC.

If I’ve already beaten the game do I have to tack it onto a second playthrough or can I just do those chapters? That’s the only thing that has prevented me from picking it up thus far. Also the fact that I just finished the 3 remake
