We are supposedly a week away from a new Kanye album/ep, plus his Kids See Ghost project with Kid Cudi is out a week after that. Usually the board has been rabidly awaiting anything Kanye related, but I'm curious to take the temperature of the room after all the recent MAGA crap.

I faltered a little bit when he said the whole slavery is a choice thing but I genuinely think at least part of this is an act.

I was leaning this way too, but Pusha-T was just talking about his new album that Kanye produced, and from the statements he and others have made about Kanye's political views, I don't think it is an act at this point unfortunately

I hit peak yeezy fandom in 2013 but I’ll be checking these out, like everyone else

I'll listen to it, but I secretly want it to be a flop. Just tired of him and the nonstop coverage. It's been over 10 years now. He can do great things, but I'm just jaded with Kanye coverage.
edit: PS, I don't think it's actually coming.

I mostly think that’s actually worse

That’s a fair point. At absolute best this was an attempt to get the MAGA crowd to listen to a black person but it was done in the complete incorrect way.

I don't have any kanye albums, and I don't know a lot of his songs, but I have seen him on two continents, and one day, I hope to see kanye in concert on a third continent. so I voted that I'm still more than ready.

Pusha said there’s been some discussion about a tour featuring all five artists. He also said that he and Nas have discussed the possibility of heading out on a co-headlining tour of their own.

it's weird how a lot of this board loves kanye but really hasn't dipped their toes much deeper into the hip hop world
just looking at the aoty lists for non-kanye rap albums in the top twenty
2011: none 2012: two 2013: two 2014: one 2015: three 2016: three 2017: one
like, what's going on here guys! other rap is good too

How many of those albums are RTJ or Killer Mike solo? The board just loves MAGA rap
