I see that now. To answer your other question, she came on a little after 9. Probably between 9:05 and 9:10.

she did 2 encores which i think she hadnt been doing earlier in the tour, that's what drove it over 90 minutes.

Patti LaBelle is the opening act for Celebrate Brooklyn!'s 2019 season (Tuesday, June 4). fun fact, one of the old boarders from DFW who was with us a Psycho last year had just seen the Patti's Pies unboxing video and spent the entire weekend drunkenly screaming PATTI! in the crowd whenever he couldnt find us.

Maybe she'll headline Pitchfork in 2020.

People bring in food at Celebrate Brooklyn!, so it seems like a natural treat for the season opener.

Pretty sure this hasn't been posted yet, but Steven Gunn is headlining the free Rough Trade concerts on Record Store Day. Wayne Coyne, T Bone Burnett, and David J of Bauhaus are also doing in-store signings. Def gonna swing by and check out Steve, prolly won't buy any RSD releases tho. Edit: Here's a link for more info

Just found out I’ll be back in the city last week of May-first week of June. Damn I wish Bjork tickets weren’t $300+ resale.

Just signed up to be eligible for tickets to Vampire Weekend's just announced all-day Webster Hall show on May 5th. Link here. And more info from Brooklyn Vegan below: "The NYC show, happening at Webster Hall on May 5, is extra special, a “live all day” show: “Three sets including a full performance of the new album, Father of the Bride, in its entirety. A bagel breakfast and a pizza lunch included. All in all a fun day to celebrate the new album. We’ll see you that morning and have you home in time for dinner.” But what about pizza ON a bagel? Then you can have pizza anytime."

I wonder where they are getting the bagels from. Ezra is from the UWS so I'd gotta think he'd spring for Barney Greengrass

Celebrate Brooklyn! opening night w/ Patti Labelle at the Prospect Park Bandshell is Tuesday, June 4. Schedule won't be released for a few more weeks, but there might be another show there the weekend of June 7-9.
