P4K reviewed this last week, it's over on youtube but not Spotify - Bruiser Wolf "Dope Game Stupid." He's on Danny Brown's label. It's pretty good. Brown appears on one track if that'll entice anyone.

What was that album you recommended 2 or 3 weeks ago by an Asian artist that was very shoegazey, and was only on bandcamp at the time? Wanted to check if that is streaming elsewhere yet

Yup Parannoul. Still not on Spotify, but he posted on BC that he was still debating putting his work on streaming services. I bought the album so if anyone wants the mp3s just let me know. I think it's great still.

(Caroline Kingsbury - Heaven's Just a Flight) I was pleasantly shocked to see P4k review this one today and gave it a good review. I saw her open for Alex Lahey at LH 2 years ago, and figured no one else really heard of her. The album is really good, highly recommended for fans of M83 and Mia Folick.

Easily their best since Farm. I am annoyed that the blogs keep referring to this as a reunion album- they (this specific trio) have been together longer than they were originally and have put out more albums than their original output now! Stop it!

I liked this one- I'm not sure how much repeatability is there but there's a couple a really fun songs. Thanks to rango420 for the recommendation here

Jawdroppingly good record. RIYL Daniel Bachman, William Tyler, Yasmin Williams, Robbie Basho - goes further out with fingerstyle guitar than I've heard in ages. Some dulcimer duets here w/ Jen Powers, some back-porch pickin', some Bad Timing-esque horns, and the last track is fuzzed out beauty. Think William Tyler covering "The Diamond Sea" or something. Dig it!

Tons of new stuff out today, very good day for new releases New Manchester Orchestra is the usual for them, so I'm good with it. A little bit mellower than the past few albums though. Jonsi also did a new score for the Without Remorse movie. It's good, but it's completely instrumental.
