 Impeccable summer vibes from this Malawian duo. The guitar playing on this shines like the sun, and is accompanied by the babatoni, a type of massive, single-string bass used in Malawi. The whole record is up-tempo, upbeat, and infectious - would highly recommend. Excellent rec. This was super fun. |

Viagra Boys- Good not great
Burna Boy- really enjoyed this one more than anything else I’ve heard from him. Might try to finesse do312 for tickets to his show next weekend.

Took me two listens to grasp it, but the new Perfume Genius is really wonderful. I loved his last album so much and this isn't quite as good IMO, but it's still great.
