New Trail of Dead had a few decent jams on it, but it's mixed pretty badly in some spots, and it is waaaaay too long, definitely over an hour, I'm not sure of the exact running time.
New Interpol was pretty good too, pretty much par for the course for them

Jack White's second album of the year is genuinely great. It was promoted as an acoustic album but it's a lot like Get Behind Me Satan. Could easily be a straight up White Stripes album.

New Beach Bunny album probably isn't gonna move the needle on this board but it's a Good album. Couple bops, couple fluff songs, overall a good time. Pitchfork only gave the album a 6 so they probably won't headline that, but mainstage before whatever headliner at Riot Fest seems like a good call for next year. They sold out the Riv!
Wasn't prepared for John Moreland to do beep-boops this morning so I stopped that 3-4 songs in. Will try to get back to it during the work week.

This is magnificent (Friendship - Love the Stranger). Highly recommended I tried this one, but it is just not the album for me. Listened to both the new Camp Trash and Chat Pile, those were much more my speed. Recommending Chat Pile for the heavier/hardcore fans here. |

ooh glad you all dig our local okc guys chat pile! i couldn't get in to the album release show over the weekend, it sold out too quick. fyi, the building on the cover is our county jail in downtown okc.  |

 Panda Bear & Sonic Boom- Reset Loving this. Probably my favorite AnCo related material in a while (and I liked Time Skiffs a lot). Only one song I didn't really love but the most of it was really good |
