 I want to like this one more than I do. Love their sound, love this stoned Ditch Trilogy country-indie thing that's coming in. But the songs themselves blended together in both of my listens this morning. I bet I'll enjoy it more as time passes tho. Cowgirl in a Ditch and Drunk and High are both bangers. And I'm sad that "When I Kicked You Out of the Band" from their EP wasn't on the full record. |

Ratboys album ripped - wouldn’t expect anything less from them. Didn’t hit as hard as their last record, but I’m still gonna listen to it 10-20 more times this month haha Zach Bryan album didn’t grab me, again. Oh well. Waiting for the right time/place for the new/final Jaimie Branch. Maybe sometime tomorrow. I’m honestly kind of dumbfounded at how wonderful I’m finding it. My expectations were very low. I was a little afraid to listen to it until this week when they released “alife.”

this has been great It's pretty much been on a constant loop in my classroom. What's surprising, though, is that a lot of the students already know them. Apparently, according to the Spotify artist app, 70% of Slowdive's audience is below 35. Anyway, especially if anyone is in the UK, buy the album! They're on track to finish the week with one of the UK's top 5 albums! Then again, they might drop out of the top 10 once the numbers for the 80 bajillion Taylor Swift albums come in. |
