Edit- this is about Kendrick but this will likely be my similar feelings on FJM when I get to that eventually lol

I wasn't particularly looking forward to a new FJM album but I must say this is easily one of his best, up there with Honeybear.
Kendrick is unsurprisingly great, only two tracks I'm iffy on - peekaboo and dodger blue. Not awful by any means, just not my favorites. Leaner than Mr Morale which is nice too.
Don't sleep on the new Kim Deal, it's pretty good.

I enjoy the new Kendrick album but it's probably my second least favorite from him (in front of Mr Morale).

I am here to announce that Kendrick Lamar ghostdropped a new album GNX that I'm about to put on Update- AOTY Oh FUCK about to throw this on Racked up at least 7 or 8 listens since Friday. Four of those coming back-to-back this morning already. An eminently listenable album, not quite reaching the heights of GKMC or TBAP, up there with his best. |
