I really dug that Tricot album for the most part. The songs on the second half didn't distinguish themselves as much as the first few, but they were still a nice listen. I would've been all about this in high school or early college when I was really into mathy pop-punk. I still enjoyed it quite a bit, even if I think it could be a touch shorter.

 Fog Lake - Dragonchaser This came out back in February but I'm just now listening to it. Lo-fi, dream pop type of stuff. If you liked Jay Som, I'd recommend it. |

I finally finished AceMo's Black Populous after trying for a couple of days. Even though more traditional techno isn't really my thing, it's very good.
But holy shit is it long at like an hour and a half? That's way too much.

 I relistened to this for the first time beginning to end in probably years a few days ago and I've now been listening to it kind of obsessively as I remembered how much I loved it. also throwing on past favorites intermittedly (mostly the first half of its never been like that) seeing them in a few weeks and I'm pretty excited. |

Amber Coffman's album is okay, there's a few songs that are pretty good, and half of it is filler. What is interesting is the final track is nearly identical musically to Dirty Projector's "I See You." I know Dave had a hand in producing this album, but it's pretty interesting that it's nearly the same, given that the whole DP album is pretty much about her
