1. The CubeHad never seen this one before. It was very much a "hot couch" movie but the existentialism stuff was cool. Too bad there werent a few more cool kills Also, this is great, and also also I wasn't sure what you meant by "hot couch movie" so i googled it to see if it was a commonly used term, and the results i got from "hot couch movie" are 10000% getting me fired |

the Cube series, while looking like B budget films at times, is legit great and creepy af and i wouldnt be mad about a 4th one or the rumored remake if they attached the right names to the project

 05. Carrie (1976)This is not as slow as I remember. I am really loving the pacing and getting into the high-school vibe of the '70s. Which in turn makes it all the more terrifying when shit starts to get fucked up. In this movie: Board darling John Travolta slaps a woman (twice!) during a good old fashioned sexual assault. |

Netflix has a couple spooky titles coming out like Haunting of Hill House (mini series, I know) and Gareth Evans new movie, Apostle. I’m excited for Halloween, Goosebumps and Suspiria as well so all these together make a pretty decent October run. I’m also seeing Hell Fest tonight but my expectations aren’t high. Please post a review, I'm thinking about seeing it this weekend Hell Fest was alright. If you enjoy going to haunted houses (with actors, not ghosts) you’ll get a kick out of this. There were plenty of dumb moments but I used my MoviePass and I’m in my october spooky mood which is why I think I sort of enjoyed it. |

Maybe next halloween hostel ii will be my favorite movie ever. I'll probably watch the third one next week |

So if you pay attention, the movie gets "better" as it goes on due to the increase in budget. |

2. Before I Wake This was p cool. Flanagan seems to be one of the only directors who can do grounded performances and believable drama while still delivering campy scares.It also means his movies tend to lag a bit and this was no exception.
