rose scored 50 points last season And blind squirrels find nuts every once in a while He was pretty great last season (his PER ranked 9th among point guards). Shot 48% from the floor, 37% from 3, 86% from the floor. 18ppg in 27mpg. 2 years/15 mil is a pretty fantastic bargain |

Love this. Miami is set up very nicely after this year.. Whiteside/Anderson/Dragic all come off the books after this season, and then Johnson/Waiters/Olynyk are all off after next year, so they'll basically have Butler plus a blank cap sheet entering a massive free agency year in 2021. |

I'd much rather have Butler and Redick than Horford and Richardson |

I really like Richardson too, and I hope he makes the leap into stardom this year. But unless that happens (or unless Simmons starts shooting), I just don't see how this Sixers team is better than the one they had in the playoffs.

I really like Richardson too, and I hope he makes the leap into stardom this year. But unless that happens (or unless Simmons starts shooting), I just don't see how this Sixers team is better than the one they had in the playoffs. If I were to make the case... -staggering Horford and Embiid's minutes solves the gaping backup center hole, which was the cause of our worst stretches in the playoffs -Horford as a part-time stretch 5 also solves some of the biggest spacing issues around Simmons -Richardson is a more willing catch-and-shooter than Butler, which makes him a more natural fit with Simmons, while still doing many of the useful things Jimmy does -Tobias could get into a better flow, shot creation-wise, in the absence of Butler's ball dominance |

Derrick Rose is still somehow a good player and will probably make the Pistons better next season
