Man The Struts -> Anthrax -> Manchester Orchestra -> giant corndog -> Slayer was pretty solid.
I think the fest organizers are a bunch of assholes for charging $3 for a water when their only filling station has a line 500-1000 people long but that's a different subject.

Bloc Party was great. Add me to the group that’s surprised I haven’t seen Pale Hose or CPF Maybe tomorrow? I saw mookie and munki for a bit today but that was it.

I saw CPF from far away yesterday and today, but that's mostly because he's very tall.

Beer prices going up to $10 also sucks. $9 was perfect for tipping.

I could have sworn I got a message from cpf asking if I was ready to “catch these hands” this morning but now I can’t find the message. Anyways if you’re reading this the answer is I’m not a very good catch but I’ll do my best, can’t wait to hang out and talk about our mutual favorite band Guns n Roses

In case anyone is curious, Slayer had dinner at Purple Pig last night.
And that is the extent of my inside knowledge of what Slayer is up to in Chicago.

To be fair, that filling station line moves impressively fast. I have a bigger gripe with the water though. I bought two bottles of water today that tasted like dirt and I don't know why that's happening with sealed bottled water. Others tasted fine. Overall though, solid festival day. Sound issues were corrected and I saw a lot of good sets.

I am being told this counted as both their last Chicago & Milwaukee dinner. Apparently they rang up a $1000 bill, most of which was fancy wine.

I'm going to wait it out and watch football. I assume the grounds are going to be muddy again after the rain last night.

Never been before, what's the best place to park if I'm arriving around 2-3?

Start looking on the North side of Ogden as you approach from the West. Anything after Central Park el station is reasonable (less than a mile walk). We like the old folks home/hospital because cars parking there don't attract attention. There are plenty of empty lots that you can park in front of as well, but they definitely fit into Buzz's potential danger zone.

Haven't really run into evacuation weather at Riot Fest and hopefully won't today, but are there any good spots to evacuate to near Douglas Park?

Not that I'm wishing for it to happen but hearing about all the people who have no where to go during the evacuation is gonna be funny as hell if it happens

Where are you guys seeing that there will be anything close to evacuation weather? There was chance of storms for the early afternoon, but it looks to have dissolved. I was mainly asking out of curiosity, because I didn't know. Wasn't trying to imply that there was any likelihood.
