Crazy. He hadn't performed for a couple of years I don't think, I wonder what was going on with him.

Very sad I have found memories of watching him at Lolla playing on top of that giant Prometheus head.

Out of all the Lolla Chicago headliners I wouldn't have picked Cornell and Avicii to go first.
Not a fan of his music but respected the fact that he tried to make country EDM a thing. RIP in peace

damn that sucks. i remember walking over to avicii after that bloc party set (which ripped) in 2012 after the rainstorm and being taken back by the spectacle of it all. im certainly not the biggest edm guy, but that robyn - hang with me mix to close was great.
.... and then i sweated my ass off that night at the aragon for jane's addiction.

It's a bit hazy because I drank a bottle of wine during that set and hung with cg and nik and possibly one or two others from the board, but that set was a blast. RIP.

Bob Dorough - aka the pianist, vocalist, and composer behind Schoolhouse Rock, passed away at 94. Bless this man.

I must have missed the weird bit. Reads like it was translated from Swedish to me.

They didn’t confirm suicide...

nah, the one sentence per line statement that chooses to weirdly allude to suicide is weird.
Our beloved Tim was a seeker, a fragile artistic soul searching for answers to existential questions. An over-achieving perfectionist who travelled and worked hard at a pace that led to extreme stress. When he stopped touring, he wanted to find a balance in life to be happy and be able to do what he loved most – music. He really struggled with thoughts about Meaning, Life, Happiness. He could not go on any longer. He wanted to find peace. Tim was not made for the business machine he found himself in; he was a sensitive guy who loved his fans but shunned the spotlight. Tim, you will forever be loved and sadly missed. The person you were and your music will keep your memory alive.

It clearly wasn't written by a professional, but I think it falls within the relatively broad spectrum of how people express their grief.

Yeah I don't know how much of it is a translation thing or just parents trying to reconcile choices that were made. Its unimaginable to be put in that spot.
