These suicides this year really put faces to the numbers you hear about. We seriously need to work on mental health and attitudes towards it as a society.

I'm getting sadder about this as the day goes on, haven't been this broken up about a celebrity since Prince. His Vietnam episode with Obama was one of the reasons I went there, just seemed like such an amazing and authentic place. And he loved Dino's too. His work was so genuine and honest.

I just bursted into tears a bit ago when it sank in more. I really can't put into words how much his work has affected my life. Anyone who watched his shows consistently the last 15 years knows he was so much more than any other chef or food personality.
