Not sure how hard he can cash in on this. I believe the Vinnie & Dimebag owned the rights to the Pantera name no? With the way things ended I can't imagine his estate letting Phil tour under that brand. Who knows though, if Rex is desperate enough for cash maybe they do something now and don't call it Pantera.

oh i just mean the celebrity side of it. he'll milk this for the next Down or whatever side project tour "in honor of my fallen brother" or whatever.
sounds dumb but i guarantee it'll help move tickets.
edit: i dont mean to hijack the conversation to talk shit about Phil who i already vocally hate. it's still very sad to lose Vinnie who was great anytime i saw him in any project and was ostensibly a great dude for the metal community

Looks like Harlan Ellison passed away on Wednesday. I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream is still one of the most harrowing things I've ever read. It's out there for free on the internet, do yourself a favor and read it on your lunch break today if you haven't.

 Think we missed this one. I remember when he was in Madison covering the recall vote and he was at the Great Dane. "Packed House!" "This thing is going to come down to the wire!" I was working for Madison broadcast at the time. I was at the Great Dane. It was 1/2 full and the vote could have been called right when polls closed. Still seemed like a genuinely nice person. |

On the BCB coming back? Tbell confirmed it in the ābeefy crunch nationā group on Facebook. It had a limited return in Chattanooga TN a month ago and it went well so theyāre likely to bring it back.
