Oath Day Five on Saturday! Psyched. Plus Mrs. DoSo picked up some SOB bottles I would have missed out on when she was in town visiting her sisters last month. I'd planned on asking her to go but thought better of it not wanting to disturb her lady weekend.

Tour De Fat is a pretty good time. I'm kind of annoyed they're charging for entry this year, but they normally roll out the entire lineup of New Belgium beers. So I'd put the quality of the beer firmly above average.

That's great; I bought it might just be Fat Tire, Blue Paddle, and other staples. If they had the Lips Of Faith series and other limited beers that would massively increas the appeal..

In 2017, Goose Island aims to reclaim its place atop the craft beer mountain with the most ambitious release yet for its iconic Bourbon County family of beers. On the day after Thanksgiving, the brewery will release a whopping seven of them, the most ever:
Bourbon County Brand Stout
Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout
Bourbon County Brand Barleywine
Bourbon County Brand Northwoods Stout (flavors of blueberry and almond)
Proprietor’s Bourbon County Brand Stout (flavors evoking bananas Foster)
Bourbon County Reserve Brand Barleywine (aged two years)
Bourbon County Reserve Brand Stout (aged in 11-year-old Knob Creek bourbon barrels)

I'll be elsewhere on Black Friday this year. Arguably better beers are being released across Denver by local breweries. Makes sense to spend my money locally this year.

I'm a little saddened that the AB buyout of Goose Island is finally delivering what we all feared; a BCS variant that will taste of Fosters.

i'm very intrigued by the prop flavor *shrugs*
still will spend too much money on it, but it'll be worth it

I'm not going out of my way for any of that stuff, but I will certainly try it if I come across it.

Oh I'll definitely try it if I see it available at a bar, but after how aggressive AB has been this past year there's no way I'll stand in line for it on Black Friday.
Kind of related, there's a local Wing Stop that has 10 Barrel beers for $1 every day. So that's a thing.

I can definitely count on Beermiscuous having most of those BCBS beers on tap shortly after Black Friday.

There's a handful of bars in Denver that have refused to carry any AB brands since the Wicked Weed buyout, so I'm sure that will be an issue. Oh well. Dark Star from Station 26 is a worthy substitute and has some great varieties, so I'll be fine.
Last year they offered Coffee, Mexican Chocolate, Strawberry Balsamic, and S'mores varieties. I can't recommend this brewery enough, guys.

There are a ton of beer cellars in St. Louis that refuse to carry any AB brands as well. I learned about that when I last visited in March.

Has anyone had the 1060 Wit at Wrigley yet? Worth trying to find it tomorrow?

Has anyone had the 1060 Wit at Wrigley yet? Worth trying to find it tomorrow? It is fine, but not overly special. There was a small stand that was selling it just a bit to the right of the main entrance.

Visiting a couple of new breweries north of Denver for my birthday this weekend and then going to the Great Divide Anniversary Party next weekend. Prepping my liver by remaining sober for most of this week.

This might be the most pointless thing ever written. It seems like an unfinished draft (from Oct.co, the new-ish beer website from Pitchfork): One (Beer) Nation Under Trump

Not gonna read it, but that makes them 0/2 on articles I've seen them post. The first one was really bad.

I really didn't need Pitchfork Beer letting me know this exists "Dave (pictured) is the founder and owner of TrumpSingles.com, a Trump dating website"

Prepping my liver by remaining sober for most of this week. I haven't taken a week off since May 2016. The result of that was gin at Shaky Knees fucking me up beyond repair.

Mostly your typical macro stuff with an emphasis on Miller and Leinenkugel's. There's probably a Sprecher tent somewhere.
I don't think they really have hard stuff except like those neon plastic margarita things? There was a martini lounge for a while, but not sure if that's still there.
