Our Texan guests brought along some Urban Artifact brews from Cincinnati which we enjoyed on the rooftop while admiring the Independence Day fireworks up and down the Long Island shoreline - definitely worth seeking out if you're a beer aficionado and happen to find yourself there.

Where are you staying again? I'll be in Logan Square for part of the week. Going back and forth on which part of the week. Looking at a couple different options for the other part of the week, thinking maybe Hotel Versey (644 W Diversey Pkwy, Chicago, IL). That seems to fall in my affordable but still nice enough for me range

I was just there and I don't think I tried anything of theirs lol. We did bring back some other stuff from other breweries we liked and some that Drifty recommended.

That seems to fall in my affordable but still nice enough for me range Being in Logan Square will allow you to check out the Revolution tap room, maybe Hopewell (I've never been, but their stuff is solid), O's Tap, and Piece and Emporium in Wicker Park pretty easily. All will have stuff worth checking out pretty much at all times. I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting, too. I'm not too familiar with the Lincoln Park beer scene, but if you feel like travelling a bit on the Brown line you can head up to Lincoln Square and check out the Ravenswood corridor of Begyle, Dovetail and Band of Bohemia, as well as some other cool food/drink spots in Lincoln Square proper.

are there any beer releases happening in Chicago this next week and if not can someone recommend me some good places to try some neat stuff It's not super close, but you should walk to Local Option. One of the best bars in the city, and it would be a nice relaxing 30-minute walk through a very expensive area that you will never afford.

Yeah LoT, what teekoh said. I live next to Empirical Brewery which is another place you should visit. They have experimental beers that change on a weekly basis.

We are very excited to be collaborating with legendary hip hop duo Run The Jewels and Brooklyn's own Interboro NYC on the latest iteration of "Stay Gold", a danky IPA. The collaboration will be released at an immersive Run The Jewels experience located within the Emporium Logan Square pop-up space the week of Lollapalooza, August 2nd - August 6th. Stay tuned!

I never received my Pipeworks rewards from Kickstarting them; mostly an oversight on their part, but me moving away certainly didn't help. Anyway, I've been in contact with them and Gerrit's given me his number so we can arrange to sort something out. Looking forward to checking out The Dojo for the first time. But more importantly I'm looking forward to getting my hands on some of the beers I've been reading about.

World of Beer has officially closed all Colorado locations as of yesterday. I stopped by the one closer to my house to take advantage of half off bottles. I guess a local brewery is taking over the two locations that shut down yesterday, so that's a neat development.

I tried the SURVIVE beer at Pitchfork. It was ok, kind of nondescript.

I liked the Survive beer fine. It was nice when the weather was cool on Friday, and I probably would've gone back to it more if I hadn't been drinking the cider. That choice was mostly due to the beer line.

I really enjoyed the G15555 beer. It wasn't anything special, but it was tasty and got the job done.

I enjoyed both of the collaboration beers, way better than the options available via can.

Oh, and they even had happy hours. woah why isn't this a thing at all festivals
I was kind of just even blown away by $6 beers at Pitchfork, even the smallest Texas fests like FFF and Psych Fest are like $8-9

New in iOS 3.1.1 Add multiple types of items to your lists, such as Beer / Venue / Brewery and sort them accordingly! Add list settings so you can add photos, notes, quantity, etc to your Custom Lists. You can also choose if you want that item removed from your list post check-in. Redesigned Badges Pages, where you can can easily sort your badges to see which ones you haven't unlocked, or by date of unlock. We've heard from you, and have added a setting for Retroactive Badges! You can now turn on a setting in your Account Setting to enable retroactive badges for all non-time sensitive core badges! On the Venue Page, you can now see a feed of users who purchased the beer at that location.

There's an Off Color event on the roof at Fountainhead on Thursday, but that sounds cool, too. Hmmm.

Just tapped a Three Hearted clone - should be ready to drink by this weekend. It already tastes delicious as a flat beer, so I'm pretty confident.
