I would not stop in Milwaukee right now is it that bad there right now? legit have no idea Wisconsin is not doing so hot. I already wasn't eating at outdoor restaurants but I would definitely not be doing that now. |

Are people still into BCBS? Prop this year is spumoni:
"This year’s Proprietor's Bourbon County Stout was inspired by third-generation Italian American brewer Emily Kosmal’s love of spumoni, a classic Italian frozen treat. Spumoni is a tri-colored frozen dessert that contains candied fruit and nuts between each layer, historically including flavors such as pistachio, cherry and chocolate. Blended with fresh pistachios, cacao nibs, candied Amarena cherries, and natural vanilla flavors, the 2020 Proprietor’s Bourbon County Stout is incredibly complex and layered with cocoa, nut, and dark fruit notes with hints of vanilla and oak. Emily, who also created the concept for 2016 Proprietor’s, is our first brewer to have two Proprietor’s concepts picked for release."
Also Black Dog Gelato will be doing a Prop gelato that you can order starting tomorrow, apparently:
"A creamy combination of cacao nib, Goose Island Bourbon County Stout Prop Day beer, and pistachio with cherries and cacao nib folded in."

i'm intrigued by the Prop varient this year. i entered to get BCBS via Binny's and Jewel. did not win Binny's which was announced today. Jewel will announce 11/17.

I wonder how they're doing BCBS nationally this year. Haven't heard anything from the spots I frequent. Wouldn't mind grabbing one and it's been a bit easier in recent years.

I prefer a fruity sweet if I'm gonna be drinking sweet liquor which is probably why I didn't like it. Also could have sipped on it lol

I like fruity sweetness, like pina coladas, but I really like dark sweetness.
Skrewball has some recipes on their website, and this one sounds pretty good.
Skrew Putin
1.5 oz Skrewball Whiskey
.5 oz vodka
.5 oz coffee liqueur
1 oz cream of coconut
1 oz heavy cream
Method: Allow all ingredients to collude in a mixing glass with ice. Shake. Pour into cocktail glass. Garnish with cinnamon and sugar (optional).
