If it's at the same place, the Club Quarters is where most of the group stayed, Madbird and I stayed at a Doubletree which was only about a mile away in the other direction. Both were near $90 a night. There's a bus right from the airport that drops you off just a block or two away from each of them.

Yeah Club Quarters was pretty perfect for the fest/bopping around downtown itself. Seems like there's cool stuff more outside of downtown though as well so depends how much of the area you wanna chill in I suppose.

Thanks guys... booked the Club Quarters from Thurs-Tues to secure the dates. I'm assuming we don't actually know if Friday is a real day of the festival or not, right? Wasn't it just a VIP only night party before?

I'm also booked for the Club Quarters from Friday-Monday. It's still the same price as when I booked in May ($100/night after tax).
If Friday ends up being a real day I'll just try to crash with TK or someone on Thursday night. Or add another night at the hotel I guess.

def waiting for a lineup before i even book a hypothetical room but i'm sure we'll do a single club quarter again if we go.
aa flights are still looking v reasonable for fri-mon again or maybe we'll do thursday so we can have a proper day in the city

Probably not easy to do but anyone who books their flight getting in Thursday afternoon before like 5:30pm, I could swing by and get you on my way home from work.
I work from home on Fridays so I'm not up by Bush then.

That would be so fantastic. I'm already ready to go back to that BBQ place we all went to. May arrange to do a pilgrimage to an even better bbq spot if people would be interested that sat or Sunday morning. It's a bit of a trek though, like a 30-45 minute drive depending which one we go to, I can haul like 4 people though Granted the one we went to is super easy since it's walking distance |

Bon Iver just announced a bunch of Southeast US tour dates for October, still no Texas.
Last year, we all kind of thought Bon Iver might play this but no one is talking about it this year. Kind of seems like an obvious fit for him...
