Taking in the city on a Friday night sounds like a better use of time, especially if you've never been to Houston and are leaving Monday after the fest like I'd imagine.

yeah meeting up with y'all friday night after the fest was faaaaaaar more entertaining than bjork in the ferns. i actually didnt leave until later monday so i had a chance to check out that bahn mi place which was 10/10 but it was still fucking cold out so i ended up hanging out at the theater and seeing rogue one  |

the houston theater is very nice and has a full bar. i see no reason why we cant work The Last Jedi into our pre/post party shenanigans that weekend  |

Just fyi, there are always awesome entire place AirBnBs for well under $100 a night in Montrose. I know being downtown is convenient though.

Yeah I'm heavily considering changing my flight to Thursday if I can secure some free lodging that night. Not sure why I thought getting up at 4:30 on Friday for an early flight would be a good idea.

That way if you decide to change it, you don't risk the hotel being booked up for Thursday night when you go to change it. They let you change it up a day or two before the reservation, and don't charge you until check-in. |

Confirmed I have a place to crash on Thursday so I cancelled and changed my flight to get in at 7 that night now. 1600 fewer SW points than my super early Friday flight too weeeeeeeee.
