Also, Dave Rogers has to be out of a job, right?

Wow. Good for the Nats, I'm guessing Harper is a little salty.
I agree Roberts job could be in danger, but it's not a slam dunk they move on. He's gotten them to the WS a couple times, that's better than Mattingly could do.

Disappointed big time by that loss. Can't believe they kept Kershaw in, the bats need to be better too.
This team should've easily been in the world series.
Oh well, now I dont have to pay attention to baseball I guess

Gabe Kapler was fired. I'd assume Roberts will be let go as well. There's going to be a ton of really attractive job openings in MLB this offseason.

Sad as I am to see the Rays go down, right now my vested interest is seeing the Yankees go down as well, so this is probably all for the best.

Yeah, that's the ideal scenario at this point. Really would have loved Rays/Nationals though.

Sanchez has a no-no through 5 1/3 and it will be over by the end of this inning now that I have said it

Big fan of the Howie Kendrick resurgence. Was an easy fantasy draft choice in many MLB the Show games back in the day

Congrats to the Nats. They've spent a lot of money, but they've also done a great job developing their own players as well. Glad to see them finally have some post-season success.

The nationals are not the cardinals and therefor a fine team to represent the NL in the World Series

If it meant the Cardinals losing for a Blues Stanley Cup this year, I'm cool with it.

I guess good for him? Unless there's a change in who is putting together the team, it's still going to be Mike Trout featuring some scrubs.
Just a weird call assuming that the Padres job was also on the table.

Man this ALCS postponement is no bueno I have a friend from Houston staying with me this weekend and we were gonna have dinner plans Saturday but now the game Saturday is at 7 instead of 3 and we're gonna have to watch it instead.
I guess maybe the game might not even happen, I'm getting ahead of myself.

Just a weird call assuming that the Padres job was also on the table. He came up through that organization as both a player and a coach, I think he spent over 20 years there. Can't blame him for just wanting to go home.
