Probably depends on the delivery service. I generally don't get burgers or fries delivered because of how inconsistent it can be.

I live close enough to there to be pretty at the end of my rope that they can’t open anything good in any of those spaces. At least the new bar on that corner is decent.

checked out Daisies for lunch today and no cap the bone marrow and tomato sando is one of the dankest tomato sammies I've ever eaten had this as an app last night...it was so good. my mushroom tagliatelle was v good too. mushroom margarita was weird but ok. |

Went to the Kuma's on Belmont for the first time in a long long while yesterday. when I got there it was pretty empty, wonder how they are doing financially. Cant imagine giving free food to cops is helping with the margins. It's not a big space but I'm old enough to remember the days when it was a 3 hour wait for a table.
I got the plague bringer, it was basically just a solid burger with pepper jack and jalapenos but I don't know if I will ever be in the mood for the ones that are topped with a whole bunch of shit at any point in my life again. This is probably the last I will go there for the next 5 years unless someone talks me into getting the Turkey burger in November. You want a good burger? Go to Red Hot Ranch and tell em Krentist sent ya.

We went a couple weeks ago, not super late on a Saturday night and there were maybe two or three other parties in there. Wild how it's fallen off. The waitstaff were also.... not cute?
I do still like it for delivery sometimes (large house salad, chicken tendies)
Got late night burgers from Dog Haus yesterday (today?) and for a place that's invested so much in bespoke packaging (everything came on a little tray in its own little box) it was not good!!

I go to the Kuma’s in Schaumburg for lunch with a couple of co-workers when I come in for my quarterly visits to the corporate office. I think it is still a good burger, but definitely feels less amazing now that there are so many great burger options available.
The burger at the little bistro in our neighborhood remains my all-time favorite, perhaps because of familiarity.

Kuma's is fine. It does seem like everyone else upped their games when it comes to the "this is more than I'd like to pay for a burger" burger, though. The Denver location was in a weird spot so I'm not too surprised it closed already.

In the camp Kuma's is fine but there are so many better options in the city.
However, their Buffalo mac and cheese is one of my go to comfort meals. Get two meals worth and it comes in like the perfectly sized container to keep for future leftovers if needed.

I would recommend getting a burger and a half pound of shrimp from the Armitage location and eating it next to the Koi Pond at O's on Western Ashland location is great too. I've been to both and haven't noticed a difference. I like to take it to go and add fresh jalapenos to my burger. The heat and crunch compliment the rest of the flavors perfectly. |
