The Kuma's in the West Loop is opening a week from Wednesday.
There are TVs all over the damn place in there which seems very un-Kuma's... I guess times are changing, though.

That sounds delicious.
I made penne alla vodka in the slow cooker last night. Despite a) using a foil collar per instructions and b) checking for doneness after the minimum time in the suggested range, the pasta was still burned to a crisp along the hot side of the vessel and blown out everywhere else.

The doggy day care next door, Dogaholics, has free open play for all the neighborhood dogs every Saturday morning from 10 to 11. It's a great way to let your pup get out some energy on the weekend and grab a treat for yourself at the same time. |

a few of my friends in the area said it wasn't great when it was under previous management but hadnt gone since it reopened this past winter.

Love son of a butcher. Went to Hopleaf yesterday. CB&J for the win. This is true. Ate so many amazing things in SF. Flour + Water, Tartine Manufactory, Slanted Door, burrito from my favorite place, Bi-Rite Creamery, Humphry Slocombe. Among the best was some chard tacos my friends and I made. |

Make sure you don't let your box sit out for too long once it's delivered, there will be perishable items in there.
