shuga doing 50% off all used records and 15% new records for their anniversary today and tomorrow. grabbed Songs from the Big Chair for $10 and the Clockwork Orange soundtrack for $5 and then bae surprised me with Bowie's Heathen for a late Vday present  |

i went to teenage head in subang jaya today. i'd read raves about their britpop collection. it lived up to the hype. 90s indie/alternative was top-notch too. many reissues mixed in, but a lot of original pressings. only downside was the prices. $90+ USD for some of the heavy hitters.
in the end, i only picked up sleeper's Pleased to Meet You and a jason & the scorchers single with a steve earle cover on the b-side.

blurgh.
so i ordered Thrice's Alchemy Index vinyl package during the second round of black friday sales, knowing it wouldn't get pressed until "january." they tweeted at the end of february that they were getting sent out soon. got my email last week that it was shipped and expected it no later than this monday.
monday night rolls around and it still says will arrive by the end of the evening. finally updated to "delayed. en route to next facility" this morning. and now it's just "delayed" with the date still saying today.
they fucking lost it or crushed or something didn't they.
