There is no actual RSD one. The limited to 1000k 4/20 one was out this morning and is sold out at both reckless and shuga (the only Chicago stores that had it).

I found a small little record store in Minturn, CO that had a bunch of Record Store releases from 2010-2013. Ended up with Hotel Yorba single and some albums from Isbell and Sharon Van Etten/Shearwater.

My store was pretty sparse in terms of good releases but I managed to get the Arcade Fire EP and also Taylor Swift’s Fearless. I’ll dry my tears over not getting The National playing Boxer live next weekend when I’m seeing The National play Boxer live

Went to Bric a Brac early and that was really smooth. Now we’re in line at Laurie’s and it’s been crawling. They’re only letting a few people in at a time.

First time venturing out for RSD and got pretty much everything on my list.
The Cure - Mixed Up The National - Boxer Live In Brussels Powell Peralta - Animal Chin Soundtrack Car Seat Headrest - Twin Fantasy Mirror to Mirror Mastodon - Empire Of Sand
Only thing i didn't find was the Kid Kruschev EP, but that was the most limited pressing I was looking for so I'm not surprised.

Boxer Live In Brussels is fucking incredible sounding Pitchfork said it was bad, am I allowed to like it? Yeah I read that review. Such a pointless shot to take at them. If you don't want screaming version of Squalor Victoria, it's definitely not for you.

RSD Haul:
The National Wilco Suffy Nas Arcade Fire Phish Mac Demarco/Shamir FIDLAR RATM Husker Du boxset limited to 100 on "Skittles" vinyl at numero
Didn't have Ben Kweller at Reckless, but my buddy got me a copy at Amoeba SF. Had the Courtney Barnett pic disc on my list, but I guess the guy I gave my list to at Reckless forgot to grab it, but I was able to get a copy of that at cost on eBay.

Did anyone find that Casket Lottery anthology in their RSD shopping today?
I’ve been to 5 different stores in Portland today and only one of them said they even received it. But then again, I don’t think I’ve ever spoken to a Portlander who has even heard of The Casket Lottery and I usually have to repeat the name several times before they can even figure out what I’m trying to say.
So maybe most of them went to stores in the Midwest? Anyway, can you guys keep an eye out for me?

shuga didn't separate their lines RSD requests and people just browsing so the line went through the whole building and stopped us from browsing so we left lol
reckless was actually pretty sparse. i got AFI Burials for cheap, plus the reissues of Obsessed's The Church Within and Against Me's White Crosses.
bucket of blood and dmen tap had a great beer share and bbq setup going. picked up Deftones' Diamond Eyes, Hot Chip's In Our Heads and the Robotic Empire cover album of Nirvana's Bleached all for under market price. plus a fancy custom RSD pint glass.
Grooving High had a ton of crazy deals and said he'll have even better ones next weekend from trades this week. grabbed Tom Waits' Bad As Me and Against Me's New Wave for insane bargains.
great haul. fun day. drunk af at Beat Kitchen now

Good to know about Groovin High for next week. Last year I think his thing was everything was anything from 15-50% off depending on the record. Will try to work a stop in up there

went to reckless in the loop when they opened this morning and got the last copy of the car seat headrest album they had so that was sweet. figured i wouldn't be able to find it after yesterday. they seemed to have a few things only at that store since it's the least popular one. i didn't feel like spending $15-18 for the courtney barnett or daniel rossen 12"s tho.
might wander down to shuga this afternoon to see what's up.

How much was the RTJ thing? I was kicking it around, but decided against it.
I kinda want to see about getting the Tango in the Night alternate somewhere, but I'm sure that's $$$$.
