I've never actually had to buy NFL tickets before, and my buddy is coming into Denver for the Giants/Broncos game next month. Is $150 and above normal? I get that the Broncos are popular, but this is nuts.

For a decent team, I do think that is common. I looked here a couple of years ago when the Bears played the Raiders cuz Ashley's folks are fans, but I thought Soldier Field might be a unique situation cuz it's so small. Official tickets were stupid expensive.

Yeah, that's pretty standard. Shoutout all my friends with season tickets. I somehow manage to go to a couple games a year for free, I would never pay that...

Jesus. StubHub has a $40 fee for each ticket, too, so Ticketmaster ends up being more affordable.

The only game I ever went to was when I was like 7. My dad got tickets through some conference or presentation he went to here. It was Bears-Vikings in December or January and so cold. I don't remember anything other than that.

Never understood the desire to go to a football game for hundreds of dollars. I much prefer my warm couch and the beer selection from my fridge. Only good thing about going to a game is tailgating.

Denver has an arrangement with the Broncos where the team has to make 2k tickets available at half price for each game, but they sold out quick. My friend already bought his plane ticket, so I'm not sure how I back out of this without looking like an asshole. There's a ton of tickets floating around on secondary sites - hopefully the price drops.

I went to a couple of Lions-Bucs games in Tampa when I lived in Florida for cheap, but the Bucs could never sell out a game. I think at least 40% of the crowd were Lions fans.

This is why I should never make plans while drunk.

I get that the Broncos are popular, but this is nuts. My friends and I have done some Bears road trips so I've looked at a lot of cities' tickets. Denver is definitely above average for tickets so we didn't do that when they played there a few years back. But even in cities like Atlanta and Minneapolis we spent over $100 for upper level You're probably also getting screwed because it's the Giants. I imagine their road games tend to be among a home team's most expensive games similar to the Bears

I never need to go to another NFL game again, but we'll be at the Bears game in November when the Lions are in town because my sister-in-law got season tickets this year after being on the waiting list for over a decade.

The Steelers will supposedly remain off the field for the anthem today. Going to be a good day.

The "locking arms in unity" was such a cop-out imo. Kudos to Travis Kelce for being the only white player to take a knee (as far as I know).
Also sad to see Darren Sproles go down for the season. Dude deserved a better finish than that (if he is forced to retire).

Oh, and kudos to the woman who sang the national anthem at the Titans game and took a knee at the end.

Looked like the dude who sang it in Atlanta did the same thing.

In the absence of any actual evidence that he was purposely shut out of the game plan, I assume that yes, it's a coincidence.

Good to hear. It was an honest question. It's just weird to see that guy targeted one whole time in a game.

For sure; it was unusual, but I chalked it up to almost every star having a game like that during the season.
I only saw half paid attention to what they showed on Red Zone, so who knows, maybe the Chargers were completely dedicated to taking Kelce out of the game and taking their chances with Hill and Hunt. (Loving having Hunt on two of my teams, btw).

Does anyone actually care about football anymore?
I mean real football. Not their fantasy players. And not just watching to see who stands or kneels before the game?
Save us, NBA.

Yeah I mostly don't give a shit about the NFL because of MLB.
And college basketball is more entertaining to me than the NBA.

I'd care more if the Bears were, you know, good.
