Shocker that the "source" wasn't right. Everyone has a dam source with this on Reddit and inforoo Now the reddit account who first confirmed Rage, and later Travis and Frank as the final headliners is saying it's cancelled or "postponed". Two days ago they were saying it was still a go. Supposed connection there is in artist management. Lots of other reputable posters across various sites are saying they're hearing the same thing from people in different parts of the industry. If it's true, I'm still a bit shocked that an outlet like TMZ isn't breaking it early, if it's false, I'm surprised so many people are either torching their reps or getting fed bad info. Also, they are now up to 4 positive tests in Coachella Valley (though officials have stated they aren't calling for the cancellation of large scale events like Coachella or Stage Coach): www.desertsun.com/story/news/health/2020/03/09/coronavirus-update-third-riverside-county-california-resident-diagnosed-linked-cruise-ship/5001731002/

Festive Owl saying he's heard the same, but hasn't been able to get a firm confirmation. TMZ promoting news of some kind in the AM.

I booked a room for the new weekend 1 in Palm Springs since there was no charge to book now and free cancellation.

Crowds are different but there's usually overlap in the lineup. I believe RATM will be booked for both this year.

At first glance last year they shared Childish Gambino, Tame Impala, Kacey Musgraves, Lizzo, Rosalia, King Princess, Tierra Whack etc.

15 (w headliner) 19 14 (w headliner) Some of the billing is baffling in this lineup I'll stand by this

I can't imagine they don't get this done. There is far too money on the table for all parties involved
Also all hotels that are part of the travel packages are offline/unavailable for weekend 1 as of now, at least on the brand my points are tied to

Grabbed a number of different reservations throughout the day. Noticed the price jumping a bit ago and realized that Billboard had gone out with an article. Lock in those free cancelation rooms while you still can.

Postponing just seems like such a logistical nightmare...I know there is a lot of money being left on the table in the event of a cancellation but I can't imagine how to make it work, especially with the "same lineup".
