I think we agreed that we were waiting until the actual year is over but I could be wrong That sounds good to me - that way we don’t overlap with 2019 year end stuff. I started pulling together my 2010s nominations last week tho cuz I was curious how it’d compare to the flood of lists about to come out. Have more than 300 albums nominated already that I need to cut down to 100...

Dirty Computer @ 69 gets a "nice" List is good overall but boy the order isn't how I'd do it Also I'm not thrilled about having to consciously think about J Cole and Travis Scott before a Coachella lineup announcement

High-key annoyed at The Monitor getting almost completely shafted, but otherwise this is a very good list for Pitchfork 2019. Pretty representative of the major trends in popular music of the 2010s. Love seeing Frank in the #1 spot.

Boldest placement IMO is Tierra Whack’s 15 minute snippets album landing in the top 40 for the entire decade. Like...it’s good, but still.

predicting that the top 20 will feature one arty sleeper album that got a not-particularly-high BNM (Shaking the Habitual?) and one pop icon release that didn't get a BNM at all (Anti??)Pretty pleased about calling this.
